In Scripture, Matthew 13:13 says…

This is why I speak to them in parables: “Though seeing, they do not see; though hearing, they do not hear or understand.”

Spiritual Insights From Matthew 13:13

Being a blind Christian is a Christian who does not have a vision for his life. Someone who does not know his God given assignment on this earth. When God created us, he did that for a particular purpose. This means that we are all sent to this world to fulfill something God intended.

Jesus Christ came so as the gospel could be preached to every corner of the earth. What is your assignment? If you do not know it yet, ask God to reveal it to you for your life will never be fulfilled until you find it.

Some people are lucky to already know theirs and they start fulfilling it from an early age.

Being a blind Christian makes you have no vision and you stagnate in your walk with God. You remain a baby in your faith though this is not what God intends for you. He wants you to regain your sight and start becoming an asset in his kingdom.

This is making the winning of souls possible.

A blind Christian may be there by choice. This is someone who rejects God’s will in their life. One may do this out of fear or ignorance. Most of the time, God’s will for us contradicts with our will.

Many things might not make sense when God directs you on a particular path but the wisest decision you can ever make in your life is to obey him no matter what.

Running to God in your time of need will be your everlasting salvation.

You will be glad you obeyed him a few miles down the road when you see him prospering and lifting you up.

In the end, Pray, meditate and turn towards the spirit of God within you.
