By | May 6, 2018

Keep your eyes on God. It’s amazing how many of the messages that Jesus taught where as simple as that.

…let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith… Hebrews 12:1-2

Right now, God wants you to wake up and realize that you’ve been blessed with the opportunity to live a life that’s beyond the ordinary.

Keep Your Eyes on God

Believe it or not, the power of God is within you.

And what Hebrews 12:1-2 is inviting us to do is to keep our eyes on God.

Because let’s face it, when you keep your eyes on Jesus you can achieve and accomplish the seemingly impossible.

For instance, the disciple Peter was able to walk on water when his eyes and mind where focused on Jesus. However, the moment he took his eyes off Jesus and doubt began to creep in. That’s when he began to sink, and his faith was lost.

Of course, we will all face times in our lives when we will be called to do the impossible. That’s when we must be willing to put our trust in God and act on what the Holy Spirit the power of God within us is telling us to do.

Simply stated, the more we can keep our eyes on God and have faith that all things are possible. More and more, we will begin to witness and realize just how powerful the spirit of God within us really is.

Pray, meditate and remember…

Keep your eyes on the Lord in all that you do.

Give thanks to God for His glory and grace.

Let your heart and mind be open to the full power of God within you.Your past doesn’t define you. God will provide you with all that you need. Just keep moving forward toward all the blessings that God has for you.

Forgive, let go and never forget…

God’s strength and wisdom is within you.

Just because you’ve been through a tough time doesn’t mean you are meant to sit back and settle where you are.

Tap into that power of God within you and turn your disadvantage into an advantage of blessings.
