Believe it or not, when you learn how to connect with God, your whole world changes.
For instance, before I learned how to connect with God through prayer and meditation, waking up in the morning was a struggle.
I was dissatisfied with life and just didn’t care about much.
However, when I started spending more time in prayer and meditation, connecting to the power of God within me. That’s when my experience of life began to change as well.
Life had meaning again.
What’s more, I decided to put God first in my life.
How to Connect with God!
The more I read scripture, the more I began to comprehend and appreciate Bible verses such as…
“…Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.” -Mark 6:31
And that’s what I do. In the morning and at night, I find that quiet place within my soul. I talk to God and listen in the silence.
When I wake up in the morning, rather than rushing through a boring routine. The first thing I do is pray, meditate and spend time studying the word of God.
Each morning, I make sure to put on the armor of God. I give thanks for the day ahead and look for things to be grateful for.
Maintaining a positive mental attitude, my body is fully rested, and my mind is at peace.
Following this simple practice of praying and meditating in the morning, helps me remember that I have all I need for any situation.
What’s more, the more I learn how to connect with God in prayer, the more I understand that God is my source.
Throughout the day, when challenging or stressful situations occur. Rather than focusing on the negative and the struggle. Instead, I choose to bring my awareness to the breath and take a moment to connect with God.
Each day I pray, every day I meditate, I find myself embracing life.
When you pray, sooner rather than later, you realize that nothing is impossible with God.
In the end, if you really want to learn how to connect with God. It’s simple. Spend time in prayer and meditation. Seek out and find things to be grateful for. Appreciate all the blessings that God has given you. And no matter what, be willing to forgive, let go and let God handle it.
