Let’s face it remaining calm and centered when life is steady seems easy.

However, how you do you remain calm in the middle of chaos?

In my own personal experience, I’ve found that spending time on a daily basis meditating and moving my body in the practice of yoga has helped tremendously.

I also know that when I spend time in prayer connecting with the power of God within me, I am able to stay centered and calm in the middle of chaos.

The truth is when you partner with God that’s when you will find more peace and happiness in your life.

In addition, Ana T. Forrest the creator of Forrest Yoga shared in the magazine Mantra Yoga + Health the following steps you can take in times of chaos.

5 Steps to Keep Your Center in the Middle of Chaos

  • Breathe Deeply
  • Activate Your Feet
  • Relax and stretch your neck, jaw, and brain
  • Make time to do Forrest Yoga Daily
  • Make the quality of your life and sanity a priority.

If you’re anything like me, remembering to breathe and breathing deeply are such powerful tools we can use to remain present and calm in life.

And while Ana T. Forrest recommends that you make time to do Forrest Yoga Daily. The fact of the matter is, consistently practicing any kind of yoga on a daily basis is going to help you remain present and calm in life. Especially when you choose a yoga practice that feeds your soul and body.

Of course, the real key is in the importance of making the quality of your life and sanity a priority. Far too often, we allow the distractions and chaos of life to unwittingly be the priority of life. Rather than just remembering and realizing that when we take the time to breathe and stretch our bodies the quality of our life improves.
