Yoga Pura offers a wide assortment of available yoga classes that range from gentle to strenuous, and from mindful to intense. However, each yoga class is designed to stretch your body as well as your mind.
You will want to start with a class that fits your abilities, but then feel free to experiment with different styles.
Each has something unique and special to offer.
In this mixed-level yoga class you will practice challenging but accessible postures, all of which include modifications and variations to suit every level of practitioner. This is an invigorating class for every body.
For beginners and newer students. You will continue working with postures, physical alignment, breath, and basic yogic theory.
The Essential Basics yoga class is a beginning level class for new students or students wanting a simpler class. In this class you will focus on the fundamentals, including posture, alignment, breath, and basic yogic concepts. This is the ideal class for both first-time or continuing students.
For kids ages 5-10, this playful class uses yoga games to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination. Your child will also practice fun and challenging yoga poses, work together in partner yoga play, and engage in group activities that focus on breathing and relaxation techniques.
A slower-paced, gentle class. This is for students with reduced mobility, recovering from injury, or simply wanting a more gentle and restorative practice. A deeply relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
This challenging practice combines the movement of body and breath to build heat, develop strength, flexibility, and stamina. Vinyasa yoga is a perfect choice for those seeking a moderately vigorous to vigorous practice. In this yoga class, the studio is heated to 85 degrees.
A surprisingly intense and profoundly rejuvenating practice. In a Yin yoga class you will safely stretch deeper muscles and connective tissues using slow, deep stretches. Focusing largely on the hips, pelvis and lower spine, postures are held anywhere from 3-12 minutes and make an excellent complement to other yoga forms.
Literally translated as “yogic sleep,” yoga nidra is a guided meditation that is performed while reclined and with eyes closed. A deeply restorative practice, that releases stored tensions,
renews vital energy, and increases your well-being in both body and mind.
