The mission of Yoga Kamala is simply this; to introduce and support a yoga lifestyle throughout the Greater Phoenix Area.

There services range from traditional to modern yoga classes, workshops, monthly yoga spa days, as well as private yoga sessions.

    Flow Yoga- Simply put, Flow yoga is all about linking the breath with the postures. As you move from pose to pose in a flow class that is linked with the breath you will find that at times it is like Meditation in Motion. More importantly on a deeper level, as resistance is released and tension is shed, you will find yourself flowing within the present moment.

    Restorative - Restorative yoga provides you with a series of carefully sequenced, gentle poses that are encouraging stillness by activating a set of psychological changes that will allow you mind, body and soul to restore as well as heal from the effects of stress.

    Therapeutic Yoga - Focusing more slow movements that address injuries, aches, pains, imbalances and restrictions. In this class you can expect to use props and chairs to find movements that will help restore and increase movement and mobility. This is a great class for those who are newer to yoga and/or have physical concerns or restrictions. Then again if you are simply looking to slow down and focus on alignment this is a great class to choose as well.

    All Levels Yoga- Designed to bring out the benefits of yoga for any and all practitioners of yoga.

    Yin Yoga- Provides deep stretching and long holds

    Yin Yasa -Great for everybody interested in Yoga. Yin-Yasa begins and ends with gentle postures (yin yoga) that target the connective tissues of the body that aren’t normally exercised in more active (Yang) styles of asana practice. The postures are held longer in order to access ligaments and joints. As a result of this process it can become an extremely meditative practice that moves towards the more Yang aspects with a brief, gentle Vinyasa flow that will help to lengthen and strengthen muscles.

    Basic Yoga - If you are newer to Yoga this is an ideal class to begin with. To help you become more familiar with the practice of yoga the same basic sequence of basic yoga postures, breathing techniques and relaxation will be followed in each class.
