Metta Yoga Class Styles
Core Fusion (Yoga + Pilates) One of the more challenging yoga classes that will awaken your core and help build a stronger foundation for your Vinyasa practice. One of the nice things about Core Fusion is that by combining yoga and Pilates you are actually building your core strength while at the same time increasing your flexibility.
All Levels - A variety of different yoga postures are taught in this class and each individual student is encouraged to participate at their own skill level. In addition inversions and backbends are introduced as well.
Flow Yoga - The yoga poses are linked together using the breath with each movement in order to create an asana sequence that increases the heart rate, improves flexibility as well as helping you enhance your lean muscle.
Power Flow Yoga - An amazing blend of vinyasa flow with power yoga the intention of this class is to awaken your mind, invigorate your body, ignite your soul and perhaps most importantly leave your spirit soaring higher than before.
Yin Yoga - This is a more meditative practice that utilizes deeply held yoga poses to release tension and stiffness in your back, hips, shoulders and legs; combined with slow movements that encourage opening and relaxation.
Kids Yoga - A playful introduction to yoga that includes some of the more basic yoga poses, as well as relaxation techniques and yoga games for children ages 5 thru 10.
Exhale! (Restorative and Yin) Helps you release tension from your body and mind by relaxing and rejuvenating you. Simply put, this class is dedicated to nurturing your body by helping you to move deeply into your body with gentle, supported yoga poses that are held for longer periods of time.
Kundalini Yoga - Utilizes breath, postures, movement and one-pointed mental focus combined with the sounds of Mantra, Mudra and periods of rest. Kundalini Yoga helps bring a greater sense of well-being and Happiness to your entire state of being.
Anusara Flow - If you are ready to dive into flow yoga based on the principles of Anusara Yoga then this is the yoga class for you. With a concise set of alignment principles called the "Universal Principles of Alignment applied to each yoga posture while at the same time coordinating movements and actions with the breath.
Considering that this is an Anusara Flow class it has a heart-oriented theme, which creates a meaningful connection to the spiritual aspects of your physical practice.
Heated Heaven (Hot Yoga) In this variation of heated yoga you might begin to notice how it will help you to sweat out all the toxins of the body while at the same time maintaining a focus on systematically stretching and compressing every part of the body in order to help assist in its natural detoxing functions.
