What I’ve found to be really interesting especially since I’ve begun to practice and work with the Pathways to BEING LOVE more and more is how there are so many moments that I cherish even though when they were happening I didn’t necessarily cherish or appreciate them.
It’s almost as if and indeed it really is that the State of BEING LOVE is occurring in each and every moment whether you want to recognize it as happening or not. However, the good news for you, especially if in the past you found yourself choosing not to accept the state of BEING LOVE in the moment is that once you do accept it you will experience it more and more even in your thoughts.
In any case, as is my habit, when it comes to the different Pathways to BEING LOVE it is always a good idea to have a general definition in mind to give you a clearer picture of exactly what that Pathway looks like.
With that in mind, here is the general definition for cherishing…
Cherishing – To hold or treat as dear. To care for tenderly; nurture. To cling fondly.
Now that we have a definition for cherishing go ahead and pull out your BEING LOVE notebook and write the following on the top of a page…
"Times that I cherish"
And then close your eyes and recall all of the times that you find yourself cherishing even in this moment now. As is normally the case, when you find yourself experiencing a moment that you cherish allow yourself to experience it fully and relive it for as long as it lasts in your mind. Then once it begins to fade back into the depths of your subconscious write it down in a way that will allow you to simply look at the few words that you have written in your BEING LOVE notebook and recall it again in an instant whenever you want.
In fact, believe it or not, many people already do this, although it is usually called a scrapbook or family photo album. In any case, once you have written the moments that you cherish in your BEING LOVE notebook you will have created another empowering Pathway to BEING LOVE that you can use at any time.
You will also be glad to know that beginning the practice of Yoga Nidra will help lead you into a state of BEING LOVE each time you practice as it actually takes you into the deepest states of your BEING which is where the state of BEING LOVE happens to reside deep within you.
