Stress Management - How to Mind You Own Business
You will find that one of the best ways to manage your stress is to mind your own business. If I could read your mind, I might hear you say "I do not have my own business." Well, guess what? "Yes you do!" Your business is You (Your Name) Incorporated. Minding your own business is a full time job and when you do not mind your own business it shows up as stress in your life in the form of tension, fear, worry and dis-ease.
Tips For Minding Your Own Business
Health Do you mind your business when it comes to your health? How much time do you devote to exercising? Planning and shopping for groceries? Preparing healthy meals? When you do not mind your health business you are causing physical stress to your body. This stress or dis-ease may appear in your life as overweight, underweight and illness.
Finances What about your financial business? Are you living from pay check to pay check? Are you robbing Peter to pay Paul? Are you financially secure? How much time do you devote to working? How much time do you devote to financial planning and learning how to invest your money? When you do not spend enough of your time minding your financial business, stress can occur in your life as a form of lack. Lack is stressful because it can cause you to worry about how you are going to provide for yourself and for your family.
Relationships How about your relationship business? How much quality time do you spend with your family members? How much quality time do you devote to building and improving your relationships with others? When you neglect your relationship business you can see the effects of stress in your life as tension in your relationships, loneliness and depression.
Spiritual How is your spiritual business? Do you make enough time to worship? Do you make enough time to meditate? You have to make enough time to be still and listen to the small whisper of your Inner Being. When you do not make enough time to be still, stress may show up in your life as a form of lack of direction or confusion in your life.
The way that you are going to manage your stress is by making "YOU" a priority. When you make yourself a priority by minding your own business the result will be peace and order in your life. Minding your own business is going to require a lot of your time and focus. If you are spending the majority of your time minding the business of others, then you are going to be neglecting your own business and this neglect will show up as stress or dis-ease in your life.
